Hünxe. (3/4/2022) A relief transport by BRH Bundesverband Rettungshunde and their partner organization I.S.A.R Germany headed off to Ukraine at noon from Hünxe in North Rhine-Westphalia carrying more than 15 tons of relief supplies. A second truck will be loaded during the afternoon to bring more relief supplies to their destination in Ukraine.

On board are respirators, medical equipment and several thousand sleeping bags and fleece jackets for children and adults. These relief supplies have been financed by the BRH Bundesverband Rettungshunde (German Search and Rescue Dog Association) and by donations from "Aktion Deutschland Hilft". The goods will arrive in Ukraine at the beginning of next week.

"BRH helps people around the world through its emergency and disaster relief work. This is made possible by our volunteers, our direct BRH donors, and Germany's largest fundraising alliance, Aktion Deutschland Hilft. We help those affected quickly and in an uncomplicated way," says BRH President Jürgen Schart.

A ton of long-life food and several thousand power banks complete the shipment. These were donated by companies or financed by donations from private individuals.
